The Tru-Flate 13-Series Hi-Flo is specifically designed to eliminate the “airflow bottleneck” common in standard 1/4″ body fittings. While standard couplers often restrict air volume, the Hi-Flo series uses an enlarged internal valve structure to maintain high pressure and volume even under heavy tool loads. This makes it a “game-changer” for HVLP spray guns, abrasive blast cabinets, and 1/2″ impact wrenches that often “starve” for air on standard lines.
The automatic push-to-connect design allows for true one-handed operation; simply push the plug into the coupler to lock it. The T6 aircraft-grade aluminum body offers the durability of steel at a fraction of the weight, reducing user fatigue and preventing damage to vehicle paint if the hose accidentally bumps against a panel. Note that while the body is 1/4″ series, these couplers must be paired with Hi-Flo specific plugs to achieve maximum advertised airflow.
