Full Product Description
The TI-30XS MultiView is the modern successor to the classic 2-line scientific calculators. The 4-line display is a game-changer for students, as it lets you scroll back through your history to edit previous entries or “copy and paste” results into new equations.
It excels in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics. The built-in Data Editor supports three lists for list-based statistics, and the Table feature allows students to explore $(x,y)$ values for a given function. Because it lacks graphing capabilities and programmable memory, it is almost universally approved for testing, including the GED (where it is often the official provided on-screen calculator) and the NCEES FE exam.
Key Features & Benefits
-
4-Line MultiView™ Display: View more than one calculation at a time to compare results and find patterns.
-
MathPrint™ Technology: See math exactly as it’s written—fractions look like fractions ($\frac{1}{2}$), not $1/2$.
-
Toggle Key: Instantly switch between “exact” answers (like square roots or fractions) and decimal approximations with one button.
-
Table Feature: Input a function and automatically generate a table of values to find coordinates or intercepts.
-
Dual Power: Primarily solar-powered but includes a 3V lithium backup battery for use in low-light environments.
-
Exam Approved: Permitted for use on SAT, ACT, AP, GED, and NCEES FE/PE exams.
